Well,
But she sure woke the hell out of me at 3:45 this morning, when she showed up with the keys…
Thankfully, the boys didn't wake up until 8:30. That was a good thing, because I didn't get much sleep without Tracy here. So I got to sleep in. Opened up the call center at 8 from here at home, and posted an appropriate message. Had breakfast. What's a group of guys “batching” it supposed to eat for breakfast? Yup… you guessed it - Cold pizza.
Played with the boys in between having to answer requests by IM from my coworkers. Gotta remember to write procedures for EVERYTHING for when I'm not available… In the lead-up to lunch, the boys had naps. I considered going in for one, but talked myself out of it. Then we had lunch… leftover polski kielbasa, broccoli, and potatoes.
After lunch, which was around 3, put on a movie for the boys… Donovan (AngelBaby from inariargenteus' postings) asked for “James Bond” so that's what I put on: The man with the Golden Gun.
Went to feed the cats, and the instructions were not written for the food. They were written for the medicines. Which was fine, except I gave the cats six cans of food when I should have given them one. Turned around halfway home and went back and corrected my mistake.
Went to the grocery store, and picked up some stuff. Publix was still cleaned out of canned goods from the storm prep that happened last week in the run-up to Frances. Now we have Ivan breathing down our necks… and no canned goods to be found.
Came home and had ravioli and garlic bread. Both boys ate some, which was surprising. Then we had cookies for dessert.
All in all, it was a great day. Hopefully tomorrow I get to spend more time with the boys!
