Sean Bossinger’s Doings

I figured that since I was wasting time, I might as well waste it on something productive, like updating all my friends on LiveJournal with what I have been up to.

Aside from helping celebrate the third birthday of my younger of two children, enjoying a much shorter commute to and from work, interviewing for (and failing to get) a promotion, and reading copious academic texts for my independent study course this term, I've been up to pretty much nothing. I think I'll try scheduling some time in to read my Friends portion of my journal, as it is really interesting. and seem to win first prize on making me jealous that I'm not either of them. Especially the fact that joe is in Ireland presently, and drax got to get up on stage and bang a cowbell during a live performance.

I hate to admit it, but in my old age, as I try to accomplish more and more things, I'm finding that I have to schedule a lot of things. Like reading. I will end up having to schedule blocks of time to read. I can do it… just have to do it. Tomorrow morning seems like the proper time to schedule my life out so that I can get my whole life in order.

One of those two things has a snowball's chance in hell that it'll happen. And I don't mean Hell, Michigan. The other has an even lesser chance.

Let's just chalk it up to things are busy, and leave it at that.

I have a new boss to impress, and I'm not feeling so energetic about doing so. It's not that he's not a decent person - quite the opposite. It's not that he's a decent boss - it seems he will be great to work for. It's also not that I didn't get the promotion. It's just really been busy at work, and we've been trying to work through some personnel stuff (namely hiring three new people in four weeks.

Anyhow… it's sunday night, and it's time to go. I'll try to post more, but I can't guarantee it. But I think my record of posting still beats that of .
