Happy New Year, Part Deux…

Today, the 8th, is when classes start here at lovely Florida International University. My classes, all two of them, are on Tuesdays, so I don't go to class until tomorrow at 2:00p.m.

I ended up dropping my GIS class, because I didn't feel like killing myself this semester; choosing, instead, to invest more time with my family than with my professors. So, I'll be taking a class in Comparative Area Studies and one on Labor and Economic Development. One is required (area studies), but it seems that it will go a long way toward explaining why some things that I will be studying happen.

On the home-front, was able to go out on Saturday and be an adult at a party celebrating the 30th birthday of one of her friends, Kristin. If Kristin was on here, I'd shout out to her, but she's not, so I won't. I'll let fill in the details of the party, if she chooses to.

Got to work early today, after slacking for three to four weeks… 7:45 a.m. was when I walked in. I think I'll be getting up early from now on.

Also, I'm going to be becoming more professional in my wardrobe. It's time to start dressing up, so that I can begin to move up the chain in the way that I really want to. Suits will be what I'll be wearing.

Anyhow, time for me to get back to work.
